Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a busy primary care practice in Pickerington, Ohio. This full-time APP role focuses on comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.

The position requires 1–2 years of outpatient APRN experience, Ohio RN license, an APRN license, BLS, and DEA, with a collaborating physician and a strong care team to support community access to care.

Qualifications

• Masters required in Science, Nursing or specialty field; Graduate of Advanced Practitioner Program.
• 1-2 years APRN experience in outpatient setting.
• Current Ohio RN license; APN license; APRN license from Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Manages care and treatment of patients per scope of practice and current standards.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care with patient/family per guidelines.
• Practices within Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician.
• Initiates and leads performance improvement activities focused on improving clinical indicators.
