Job summary

Qualifications

• RN degree or equivalent as listed: BSN, ASN with BSN enrollment, or nursing diploma with BSN track.
• Current Texas Board of Nursing licensure or NLC is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Minimum of 9 months professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and telephone nursing care.
• Health teaching and patient advocacy.
• Supervision and coordination of care by others.
• Coordinates services for ambulatory-care outpatients as age-appropriate.
• Use evidence-based assessment and instruments in ambulatory care.
• Develops and updates patient-centered care plans.
