Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a General Neurologist to join our Outpatient Neurology Service within the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH. The position offers a balanced Monday-to-Friday schedule with an Employed model, supporting a full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient neurology care.

The role provides access to a fully staffed neurophysiology lab, a robust in-house lab and radiology services, and teaching opportunities with potential academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical

Qualifications

• Neurology Board Certification Eligibility
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Neurology service with fully staffed neurophysiology lab
• Inpatient coverage includes neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, epilepsy monitoring unit
• Academic appointments and CME opportunities available
• Engaged in research and teaching activities with a large referral base
