Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a General Neurologist to join our growing Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH. The role includes outpatient care with a fully staffed neurophysiology lab and inpatient support across neurology subspecialties.

An academic appointment at NEOMED may be available for qualified applicants. The ideal candidate will be board-eligible or certified in Neurology, hold an Ohio license, and participate in teaching and resident

Qualifications

• Neurology Board Certification Eligibility
• A current unrestricted license or the ability to obtain a license to practice medicine in Ohio
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology care in an outpatient setting with a neurophysiology lab
• Inpatient coverage includes neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring unit
• Engage in teaching, lectures, and resident sessions
• Opportunities for research, innovation, and academic collaboration
• Collaborate with extensive in-house laboratory and radiology services
