Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist to join our outpatient team at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. This full-time role focuses on adolescents (16+) and adults with a wide range of neurological concerns, collaborating with radiology, EEG techs, PT, and local specialists.

Office-based position with a Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM schedule, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including retirement plans and malpractice

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in General Neurology.
Prior outpatient general neurology experience preferred.
Experience in rural/critical access hospital settings is a plus.
Ability to interpret EEGs and perform NCS/EMG.
Competent in Botox injections and lumbar punctures.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage outpatient neurology patients (16+).
Coordinate care with radiology, EEG techs, PT, and specialists.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and provide education.
Provide limited inpatient consults when needed (0–3 per week).
Support hospitalists and participate in a rural network.
