Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group in Paducah, KY is seeking an Outpatient Neurologist with a neuromuscular focus. This position emphasizes EMG, nerve conduction studies, and comprehensive care for neuromuscular disorders.

You will collaborate with PT/OT, pulmonology, rheumatology and rehabilitation services, manage functional decline, and participate in clinical trials and CME. Relocation and onboarding support are available.

Qualifications

• Diagnosis and management of neuromuscular disorders including neuropathies and myopathies.
• Experience with EMG and nerve conduction studies.
• Care for patients with neuromuscular disease, including immunotherapy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology care with neuromuscular emphasis.
• Perform EMG and nerve conduction studies as part of evaluation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with PT/OT, pulmonology, rheumatology, and rehab services.
• Manage disease progression and function, with planning for supportive care.
• Counsel patients on prognosis and treatment options.
