Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH seeks a General Neurologist to join the Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute. The role includes an outpatient practice with an in-house neurophysiology lab and teaching opportunities within a growing program.

Employed position with a Monday–Friday schedule offering good work/life balance, inpatient coverage support, and access to extensive in-house labs and imaging, plus potential academic appointment at NEOMED.

Qualifications

• Neurology Board Certification Eligibility.
• A current unrestricted license or the ability to obtain a license to practice medicine in Ohio.
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology care with an in-house neurophysiology lab.
• Inpatient coverage includes neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke and epilepsy monitoring unit.
