Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group is seeking a General Neurologist to join the Outpatient Neurology Service at Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH. The role includes outpatient care with an in-house neurophysiology lab and inpatient coverage across neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy services.

Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University may be available. The practice features a large referral base, supportive system, and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Neurology Board Certification Eligibility.
• Unrestricted license or ability to obtain license to practice in Ohio.
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology care within the Outpatient Neurology Service.
• Support inpatient needs through neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring unit coverage.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly activities; participate in research and innovation.
• Collaborate with in-house neurophysiology lab and extensive diagnostic services.
