Job Summary: The Physical Therapist utilizes a comprehensive evaluation based on accepted professional standards to assess patient needs and function status, devises and implements appropriate treatment plans to promote the highest level of patient self-sufficiency, regularly re-assesses the efficacy of treatment plans, provides appropriate education to patients and their families and progresses patients toward goals and outcomes that reflect improved independence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing a comprehensive evaluation based on accepted professional standards to assess patient needs and function status.
  • Devising and implementing appropriate treatment plans to promote the highest level of patient self-sufficiency.
  • Regularly re-assessing the efficacy of treatment plans.
  • Providing appropriate education to patients and their families.
  • Progressing patients toward goals and outcomes that reflect improved independence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or eligibility, in Physical Therapy required.
  • Master’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Current CT Physical Therapy license or eligibility required.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
