Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy Neuro clinic. This role supports providers in neuro‑related conditions in a fast-paced outpatient setting, with responsibilities including triage via inbox/phones, medication prior authorizations, and administrative/clinical support.

The ideal candidate has a current Ohio LPN license, BLS certification, and knowledge of medications and patient assessment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing
• Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio.
• Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course.

Responsibilities

• 25% Performs initial, ongoing and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and/or individual.
• 25% Documents planned nursing interventions and coordinates care plans and medical management.
• 20% Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and revises plan of care as needed.
• 20% Delegates tasks and coordinates continuity of care with the health care team.
• 10% Participates in process improvement activities and manages resources to maintain safety and efficiency.
