Job summary

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is seeking an MRI/CT Technologist for our outpatient clinic in Chicago, IL. The role involves performing high-quality MR and CT images, ensuring patient care, and collaborating with radiologists. Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or holidays, with competitive pay and benefits.

Requirements include ARRT, MRI and CT certifications, R license, BLS, and at least one year of MRI orthopedic experience. Siemens MR and GE CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required.
• MRI (MR) certification required.
• Radiography (R) certification required.
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year MRI orthopedic experience; CT experience required.
• Siemens MR Scanners and GE CT Scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MRI/CT scanner, set up parameters, perform imaging per physician orders.
• Provide patient education and staff training as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow in the imaging suite.
• Position patients to optimize image quality and safety.
• Screen patients and manage contrast administration per protocol.
• Document imaging data and QA activities per department procedures.
