Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Worcester, MA is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join our team and expand access to quality mental health care. We share core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

As an outpatient clinician, you will evaluate diagnoses, develop and monitor treatment plans, and collaborate with a dynamic team to serve the community. The role requires navigating diverse client needs with effective communication and creative interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral sciences field from an accredited institution.
• Current clinical licensure (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, LADC, LP, etc.).
• Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and case notes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Ability to complete documentation promptly.
• Comfort working with diverse client base.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant a plus).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses and implement treatment plans.
• Provide excellent client service and collaborate with a team.
• Utilize creative interventions to support client goals.
• Prepare and submit session documentation per policy.
• Maintain a minimum caseload (26 visits/week) for full-time.
• Coordinate with case managers, families, medical staff, and schools.
• Attend clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
• For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 26 client visits per week
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
• Candidates should have clinical licensure (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, LADC, LP etc.)
• Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
• Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels
