Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health RN for Newark CBOC. The role focuses on patient-centered, recovery-oriented care for Veterans with mental health needs, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to support treatment planning, access to care, and continuity of services.

Responsibilities include nursing triage, risk assessment, and patient education, under VA policies. The position may include flexible scheduling and adherence to Safe Patient Handling

Qualifications

• English language proficiency is required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in the United States with state license upon appointment.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by appropriate accrediting agency (ACEN/CCNE) or equivalent.
• Foreign nursing education must be validated for equivalence.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registered nurse licensure in US.
