Adventist Health Simi Valley seeks a Medical Assistant to support non-invasive, routine clinical tasks under supervision of licensed clinicians. You will assist in exam setup, record vital signs, perform venipuncture, and conduct audiometry and vision testing to support patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy credentials. Flexibility for varying shifts and a focus on patient safety are essential.

Formación

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
• Audiometry and vision training certification preferred (within 6 months of hire).

Responsabilidades

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients with a focus on efficient patient flow.
• Obtains vital signs and reports significant findings to the clinician.
• Performs venipunctures as ordered.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
