MetroHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for outpatient clinics at the Main Campus - OPHC. The role includes scheduling, obtaining pre-authorizations, registering patients, gathering payor data, and performing basic screenings with vital signs and specimen collection.

Responsibilities also cover assisting providers with sterile and non-sterile procedures, administering medications and vaccines, wound care, and supporting EPIC In-Basket workflows in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant program or equivalent military medics program with externships.
• Current BLS certification or within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a clinical setting.
