Job summary

The ideal candidate has MA training or 1 year MA experience or an RN/LPN license, BLS, basic computer skills, and a collaborative, patient‑focused approach to care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or one year MA experience or a current RN/LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Providing Patient Care: Under the direction of the Clinician, assisting the provider to gather information that is relative to the patient’s visit and condition.
• Effective Communication: Interacting with patients via telephone and in-person modalities to coordinate care.
• Team Collaboration: Working with cross functional teams to collaborate on patient care.
