UCSF Health seeks a Hospital Assistant III to support outpatient clinics under the supervision of the MA Supervisor/Administrative Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include patient check-in, vital signs, history, medication reconciliation, and coordinating clinic flow to maximize efficiency.

You will assist providers with procedures, manage records via EMR, and maintain a clean, safe patient care environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience in a Primary Care clinic.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• CPT-1 certification current with the State of California.

Responsabilités

• Manage patient flow through clinic, including vital signs and rooming.
• Coordinate exchange of patient records via telephone, fax and EMR.
• Assist patients with forms and MD letters; maintain clean exam rooms.

Connaissances

Medical Assistant experience

Flexibility to work at multiple UCSF?

CPT-1 Certification

Formation

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification from an approved Medical Assistant program
