Job summary

BJC HealthCare's BJC Medical Group in Shiloh, Illinois, seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to join the outpatient team. You will assist physicians, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections and help maintain exam rooms in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers 40 hours per week, day shift, benefit eligibility, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus, with no call, no weekends, and no holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No Experience required; <2 years preferred.
• CPR certification or similar licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains charting.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triages calls and communicates test results to providers.
