Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in California seeks a Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician/APP. You will perform assessments, administer medications, perform treatments, and support the care team in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of RN or provider within scope of practice.
• Transcribe orders and assist with care planning.
• Administer medications per physicians' orders and standing orders.
• Assist with examinations, prepare and pass instruments and provide patient comfort.
• Observe and document patient status, report to RN/provider as needed.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures and proper care environment.
• Coordinate discharge process and support back-office nursing workflows.
