The ideal candidate has an Ohio LPN license, at least one year of experience, and proficiency with MS Office and EHR systems. A strong focus on patient education and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility.
• Proficiency in MS Office and electronic health records patient management software.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Duties: Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures; measure vital signs; prepare patients for examinations; administer injections and medications as directed; perform basic lab tests and ECGs; maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments; manage patient records; handle billing and coding; assist with check-in/check-out and front-office tasks; support insurance verification.
• Patient Education: Instruct patients on medications and follow-up care; provide lifestyle and preventive care guidance as directed.
• Collaboration: Communicate with physicians, APRNs, PAs, nurses, and staff; support workflow with medical assistants.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Follow HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
