Job summary

Allegheny Health Network Express Care West in Erie, PA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for outpatient care. You will support physicians and clinicians, perform routine nursing tasks, prepare exam spaces, collect data, and assist with treatments in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN license, basic IV certification, and may need PALS/ACLS. Strong documentation skills and compliance with HIPAA are essential. Weekend/holiday rotations apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current state LPN licensure or multi-state eNLC licensure.
• Preferred: 1 year healthcare experience.
• State approved IV course certification.
• Knowledge of OASIS documentation and assessment.
• PALS or ACLS may be required depending on area.
• Background clearances and CPR certification as listed.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care in line with standards.
• Assists with equipment prep and during treatment/exams.
• Collects assessment data and documents in patient records.
• Orders diagnostic tests and reviews results with clinician.
• Schedules procedures and obtains necessary authorizations.
• May administer injections or medications and collect specimens.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
