Inova Health System’s Pulmonology outpatient team is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the day shift on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The role centers on direct patient care under RN supervision, medical records maintenance, and collaboration on quality initiatives.

Virginia LPN license with a Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing and a BLS certification are required; 0 years of experience is acceptable, with 1 year preferred

Inova Pulmonology is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time day position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:Vocational / TechnicalDiploma in Practical Nursing
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Experience: 0 years of experience
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant
