Under Physical Therapist supervision you will apply evidence-based treatments, assist with ambulation, exercises, modalities, and use assistive devices. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant required.

• Experience in ALF/ILF setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Offer consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.

Rowlett Health & Rehabilitation in Rowlett, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistants for our outpatient ALF/ILF facilities in Terrell and Fort Worth, Texas.

Duties

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.


• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.


• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.


• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications

Physical Therapy Assistant license is required
