Job summary

NorthstarIR in Minnesota is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our growing outpatient IR practice. You will work alongside interventional radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians to deliver high-quality image-guided care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include preparing the procedure room, scrubbing, operating fluoroscopic imaging equipment, supporting vascular access and endovascular procedures, and maintaining sterile technique and radiation safety

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Minnesota licensure required.
• Interventional radiology/cath lab experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the procedure room, equipment, supplies, and sterile field.
• Scrub and assist during interventional procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopic and imaging equipment.
• Support vascular access, angiography, embolization, and other image-guided procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation-safety standards.
• Manage procedural supplies, devices, and inventory.
• Participate in quality improvement and procedural workflow development.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience.
