Job summary

Veterinary Outpatient Specialty Center in Colorado is seeking a board-certified internal medicine specialist (DACVIM-SAIM) to join our growing team in an outpatient setting. We offer a balanced schedule with daytime hours, no primary overnight or emergency on-call, and a four-day full-time week or flexible part-time options.

Our team collaborates across oncology and surgery, with access to advanced diagnostics to deliver high-level care while supporting your life outside the hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified internist (DACVIM-SAIM) with 2–3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in abdominal ultrasound and endoscopy.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and personable.
• Clear communicator with strong relationships with clients and referring veterinarians.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal medicine referrals, build diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage complex medical cases.
• Perform in-house diagnostics such as abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, and image-guided sampling as appropriate.
• Provide thoughtful, current, evidence-based medicine with clear long-term management plans.
• Communicate promptly and collaboratively with referring veterinarians and clients throughout each case.
• Mentor and collaborate with the technical team, supporting their credentialing and professional growth.
