Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System is seeking a registered nurse for its outpatient internal medicine group in Beaver. The role is based at Associates of Internal Medicine (Beaver) with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and no weekends or holidays.

The RN will provide professional nursing care, administer medications as ordered, and maintain patient records while supporting the physician during treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure; valid additional state licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well being of patients.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintains patients' medical records on observations.
• May assist physician during treatment and examination of patient.
• Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions and education to the patient.
