Job summary

Ascension is seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join an employed, outpatient practice in Carmel, Indiana. The role offers a standard Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am–4:00pm) with no hospital duties and a supported work environment within a nonprofit health system.

You will see an established patient panel with extended appointment times for wellness and acute visits, participate in a proactive wellness model, and enjoy a balanced lifestyle with clear professional

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Join an established practice with an existing patient panel.
• Call structure: 24/7 with possible sharing; minimal call volume.
• Practice setting: Outpatient.
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system.
• Deliver personalized, high-touch care with extended appointment times (30–60 minutes).
• Maintain a manageable patient panel cap of 300–600; ensuring continuity of care.
