Job summary

Ascension in Indianapolis is seeking a highly capable Internal Medicine physician to join an employed, outpatient team. The role emphasizes a balanced schedule with limited call, a 1:5 weekend rotation, and care for a broad patient panel.

The physician will provide comprehensive longitudinal care, perform minor in-office procedures, and mentor interns and residents from the Ascension/St. Vincent program, delivering high-quality outcomes in a supportive health system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO credentialed from Indiana Medical Licensing Board prior to hire date or transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities

• Join a highly productive team.
• Maintain work-life balance with limited call, 1:5 weekend rotation, and few holidays.
• Outpatient practice setting.
• Opportunity to perform minor in-office procedures.
• Teach interns and residents from Ascension/St. Vincent program.
