Job description

The ETSU Department of Internal Medicine invites board-certified or board-eligible Internists to join our established team at ETSU Health outpatient clinics in the Appalachian Highlands of Tennessee. This is a primarily outpatient-focused position, with opportunities for optional inpatient rotations based on individual interests and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in Internal Medicine
  • Deliver lectures, lead case discussions, and contribute to hands‑on clinical training
  • Engage in scholarly activity and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in internal medicine
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care
