Job summary

CHI LakeWood Health in Baudette, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care across infusion and surgical settings. You will perform assessments, administer chemo and non-chemo infusions, manage ports and catheters, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements include MN RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS within 12 months, and OCN within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Active MN Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification required; ACLS within 12 months; OCN within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing chemo and non-chemo infusions and injections.
• Maintain ports and catheters used for infusions.
• Deliver quality surgical nursing care to diverse age groups using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Care for the surgical patient during pre-op, intra-op and immediate postoperative course.
• Educate cardiac and/or pulmonary patients and families to manage conditions and improve quality of life.
• Assess patient needs and develop an education plan of care for cardiac/pulmonary disease management.
