Job summary

Plumas District Hospital in Quincy, CA is seeking an Outpatient Services RN to provide comprehensive care for infusion and therapy patients. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, patient education, and coordination with Rural Health Clinic staff to ensure timely access to treatments.

The role requires California RN licensure, BLS/CPR, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and strong communication. Two years acute care experience and EHR proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire
• Must have excellent communication skills and be competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Preferred experience: two (2) years minimum as RN in Acute Care setting and experience with an electronic health record

Responsibilities

• Follows policies and procedures; demonstrates ability to access online manuals and references
• Completes chart prep and pre-procedure/infusion phone calls for increased compliance and continuity of care
• Transfers learned scientific knowledge into practical application in applying the nursing process
• Appropriately completes nursing assessment and screening upon patient arrival to receive therapy
• Interprets assessment information and formulates nursing diagnosis
