Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Physician Infectious Disease for an outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. This is a direct-hire, on-site role with no nights or weekends required and a patient load of 14–18 per day.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with an active medical license, valid DEA and Furnishing license; board certification preferred; outpatient care experience is required. Competitive compensation and robust benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Board certification preferred.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet targets.
• Document visits the same day or within 72 hours, including billing codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions.
• Collaborate with care teams to manage urgent care.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected administrative time per week.
