Advocate Health is seeking BE/BC Internal Medicine physicians to join the outpatient IM team in Hickory, NC. This full-time role features a 36 patient-facing hour schedule, four protected admin hours, and light telephone-only calls.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• DEA certification required.
• Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure.
• J-1 candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient internal medicine practice.
• Light telephone-only call rotation.
• Monday-Friday schedule with 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours.
• Excellent staff support enabling focus on patient care.
• Access to DAX Copilot AI documentation integrated with Epic for streamlined charting.

Education
