Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP/PA) for the Outpatient Gynecologic Oncology service in Tampa. The APP delivers autonomous and collaborative care, performs exams, evaluates pre/post operatives, and assists with chemotherapy under established protocols.

You will work full-time Monday through Thursday, on-site at the TGH Main Campus with opportunities to collaborate across the multidisciplinary team, maintain EMR proficiency (Epic) and ensure high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with Acute Care certification
• Experience in gynecologic oncology or care of surgical patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients on the outpatient Gynecologic Oncology Service.
• Perform standard exams and evaluations.
• Pre & post operative evaluation of gynecologic oncology inpatients.
• Assist with the management of chemotherapy treatments.
• Communicate with primary & multidisciplinary team to collaborate on the management of gynecologic oncology diagnoses.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results per departmental protocols.
