Mountainside Treatment Center is seeking an Outpatient Group Clinician (Per Diem) who can reside in CT, NY, NJ, or MA. The role focuses on IOP and OP group facilitation within an integrated care model and requires licensure or willingness to obtain licensure in CT/NY and other states as needed.

The position is remote with a per diem schedule including weekday evenings and weekend coverage. You will work with an outpatient team, manage charting in EMR, and participate in supervision and trainings.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required.
• Licensure in CT/NY or ability to obtain in CT/NY/ NJ/MA required.
• Experience facilitating group therapy is required.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred.

Outpatient Group Clinician (Per Diem)

Remote Position - Must Reside in CT, NY, NJ, or MA

About the Position:

The Outpatient Group Clinician is responsible for providing best-in-class group facilitation with the purpose of creating an individualized recovery experience that incorporates the mind, body, and spirit of each client. The Outpatient Group Clinician is expected to provide IOP group therapy, OP group therapy, specialized group therapy as indicated/assigned, and crisis management as needed.

Schedule:

This is a per diem position with a regular weekly Tuesday evening shift and additional opportunities to provide coverage based on program needs. Candidates should have availability for multiple shifts listed below.

• Tuesday: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM | Weekly availability required
• Monday: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Wednesday: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Thursday: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Additional shifts will vary based on coverage needs and candidate availability.

Your Role:

• Facilitate IOP and OP groups with a focus on integrated care.
• Collaborate and consult with the outpatient interdisciplinary team members regarding group member clinical processes and needs.
• Assist with client drug and alcohol screening process as needed.
• Provide crisis management as needed.
• Complete all required and assigned trainings in a timely manner.
• Maintain clinical chart via electronic medical records in accordance with agency and accreditation standards of same day documentation.
• Participate in individual and group clinical supervision as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, required.
• Holds and maintains independent or provisional licensure as an LCSW/LMSW, LMHC, LPC/LPC-A, or LMFT/LMFT-A in the state of Connecticut or New York, required. Willingness and ability to obtain licenses in the states of CT, NY, NJ, and MA as needed, required.
• Previous experience facilitating group therapy, required.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting, preferred.

Compensation:

Rates vary based on the nature of the work performed (clinical vs. non-clinical responsibilities), as well as experience and credentials. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions. This is not a fee-for-service position.

• Non-clinical hours: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Clinical hours: $45.00 – $75.00 per hour
