Bronson Gastroenterology Portage is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join our established practice. The role involves outpatient gastroenterology with potential inpatient duties, a competitive salary, paid malpractice with tail, generous PTO and CME, and comprehensive benefits.

Located in the Portage area, the position offers academic opportunities with regional medical education partners and collaboration with mid-level providers in a well-supported team

Qualifications

• Medical degree required (MD or DO).
• Current Medical License in the state of Michigan.
• Current DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration.
• Must maintain all requirements for medical staff privileges.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with proper telephone etiquette.

Responsabilités

• Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining and treating clinical patients.
• Performs in a tactful and professional manner; maintains confidentiality and safety standards.
• Educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources.
• Determines referrals based on examination and patient needs.
• Orders studies, tests and ancillary services and documents all services in the medical record.
• Oversees coordination with hospital and clinic staff to ensure high quality patient care.
