Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our gastroenterology team at the Kenilworth location in Charlotte, NC. This outpatient-only role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.), with no nights or weekends and a 40-hour work week.

You will collaborate with supervising physicians and APP colleagues to deliver coordinated care, manage approximately 14 patients per day, and participate in PEG tube exchanges with training

Qualifications

• Must hold Physician Assistant or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certification/licensure.
• North Carolina licensure or ability to obtain it.
• Minimum of 2 years APP experience; not open to new grads.
• Interest in general gastroenterology; subspecialties welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care to adults.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and APP colleagues.
• Participate in team-based care delivery and clinical coordination.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient experience.
