Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Gastroenterology team in Highlands Ranch, CO. The role focuses on 100% outpatient care, collaborating with two physicians and an outstanding support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate has GI experience, is a team player, and is dedicated to maintaining high-quality patient outcomes in a dynamic clinic environment that uses EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (PA).
• Master’s degree in Nursing for NP role.
• Unrestricted PA license in Colorado or NP license as applicable.
• PA-C or NP certifications and state licensure in good standing.
• DEA permit to prescribe medications.
• Eligibility for Medicare/Medicaid provider status.
• Prescriptive authority per privileging process.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient gastroenterology care.
• Collaborate with two physicians and support staff in a busy clinic.
• Handle patient care with a focus on safety and excellent outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for charting and orders.
• No night or weekend duties for this position.
