Job summary

Austin Gastro, a GI Alliance partner, is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Austin, TX practice. The role emphasizes outpatient care with rare inpatient duties, seeing new and follow-up patients, building patient histories, and coordinating labs and tests.

Clinicians operate within a physician-led MSO, focusing on high-quality GI care. We offer a base salary with benefits including Med/Den/Vis, LTD, life insurance, PTO/CME, and licensure/DEA

Qualifications

• State Licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient care with occasional inpatient duties under supervision of one physician
• See both new and follow-up patients, complete histories and physicals
• Order laboratory tests and determine tentative diagnoses
• Counsel patients and families on health and disease
• Participate in continuing education and credentialing requirements at assigned facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned
