Job summary

The Specialty Alliance is seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join our Hamilton Wolfe/Medical Center team in San Antonio, TX. This outpatient role involves scheduled patient visits under direct supervision of a physician, focusing on patient histories, exams, and appropriate testing.

We offer PTO and CME support, a physician-led MSO structure, and opportunities for professional growth within a national gastroenterology network.

Qualifications

• Experienced nurse practitioner required for outpatient gastroenterology setting.
• Active state NP license required.
• Experience with patient histories, exams and order of labs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision in an outpatient clinic.
• Complete patient histories and physicals; determine tentative diagnoses.
• Conduct follow-up visits, averaging 14-16 per day; coordinate care and referrals.

We are seeking for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join the group at our Hamilton Wolfe/Medical Center

Job Description:

• No Satellite Locations
• Outpatient only
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-4pm
• Supporting one physician
• Patient follow-up visits only, averaging 14-16 per day
• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Salary range: Negotiable based on experience
