HSHS Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join our outpatient GI program in Springfield, Illinois. This full-time role focuses on outpatient care with opportunities to develop procedural interests, including ERCP, with a weekday clinic schedule and the option of a 4-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• M.D., D.O., or MBBS.
• Must have completed an accredited residency program.
• Licensed physician in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must maintain a Controlled Substance license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient-focused GI clinic with opportunities to develop procedural interests.
• Based at the Springfield Pavilion location with a weekday clinic schedule and option for a 4-day workweek.
• No required hospital call; call responsibilities limited to own clinic patients.
• Help shape and grow the Springfield GI program.
• Interest in advanced GI training including ERCP.
