Job summary

Facsnj is seeking a Fee-for-Service Behavioral Health Therapist to support children, adolescents, and families. The role offers a flexible schedule with in-person or virtual therapy options and includes complimentary clinical supervision, fostering professional growth within a mission-driven team.

Ideal candidates are Masters-level licensed clinicians with experience in community mental health settings, strong communication skills, and fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level licensed clinician (LSW/LCSW, LAC/LPC, AMFT/LMFT) or equivalent.
• One year of clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop client-centered treatment plans and progress updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EHR system.
• Submit LOS and treatment summaries per program timelines.

• Fee for Service Reimbursement Rates: $45-$55 per unit of service, competitive rate based on experience, bilingual Spanish skills, and commiserate with community non-profit mental health settings in NJ.

What You’ll Do:

As part of our dynamic clinical team, you’ll provide high-quality, in-person or virtual client-centered therapy services and play a vital role in supporting positive behavioral health outcomes across our community. Your work will help change lives—and it will be backed by a team that values integrity, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized, client-centered treatment plans and progress updates
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the MyEvolv electronic health record system
• Submit Levels of Service (LOS) and treatment summaries per program timelines
• Ensure ethical, legal, and professional standards are met at all times
• Communicate effectively with referring agencies and stakeholders
• Participate in program meetings, clinical trainings, and team collaboration
• Uphold confidentiality and child welfare laws with the highest professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s-level Licensed Clinician (LSW/LCSW, LAC/LPC, AMFT/LMFT)
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
• Highly organized with excellent time management and planning skills
• Some experience with evidence-based treatments preferred
• Spanish language skills are a plus!
