Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a 100% outpatient role with flexible hours and no on-call requirements on Long Island, NY. The position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for leadership within a physician-led group.

Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine and NY licensure or eligibility. This role emphasizes comprehensive primary care, patient-centered communication, and collaboration

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for NY State licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in delivering high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients about diagnoses and options.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses and support staff.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
