Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a 100% outpatient role across Long Island locations. Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, no on-call duties, with a highly competitive salary range of $250K–$400K per year.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine and NY licensure or eligibility. The practice emphasizes clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, teamwork, and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active or eligible board certification in Family Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care as a key clinical provider.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret labs and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication about diagnoses, options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS and payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with growth.
