Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Somerville, NJ is seeking a Therapist I to join the Eating Disorders Outpatient team. You will provide assessment, intervention, education, and discharge planning for adult psychiatric patients and families on a day shift.

Required: Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling (PhD considered), NJ state licensure preferred (LSW acceptable with experience), and at least two years of related clinical experience. This is an hourly, part-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited school of Social Work or Counseling degree from an accredited school, PhD from an accredited college or university
• Excellent customer satisfaction skills
• Two years or more years job related clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, prevention/intervention, education, treatment and discharge services to adult psychiatric patients and their families
• The clinician will also actively participate in Department specific and hospital wide activities to ensure regulatory compliance enhance program development and quality improvement
• Additionally the clinician will engage in community outreach, professional associations and marketing activities
