Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent behavioral health experience plus BLS certification; preferred candidates have 1 year in the field. This role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years behavioral health experience.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Minimum 1 year experience, training, or education in the field of treatment.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to ancillary departments and emergency room.
• Completes personal hygiene for assigned patients.
• Reports patient complaints, problems, or unusual occurrences to the Registered Nurse.
• Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
• Assists with ambulation, devices, and patient positioning.
• Assists with nutritional needs and takes and records vital signs.
• Maintains a safe and supportive atmosphere on the unit and communicates with nurses.
• Maintains confidentiality of clinical information.
