Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting and educate patients and staff. You will work with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

The role emphasizes applying current research, coordinating with the care team, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives while supporting professional development and mentorship of dietetic interns.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice (or willing to obtain).
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with clinical training encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Education: Guide on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness for patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

• Location: With Morrison Health at Baptist Memphis Hospital, TN
• Schedule: M-F availability; 8-24 hours a week. NO Weekends
• Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; Specialty certification in CDCES, CEDRD, CHES or CSO Preferred or able to obtain within one year of hire.
• Pay Range:$35/hour to $40/hour

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
