Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Memphis, TN is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. The position is outpatient, Monday through Friday, with 8–24 hours per week and no weekends.

Requirements include RDN or CDR eligibility and licensure in the state; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice where applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Education: provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support long-term wellness for patients, families, staff and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: apply latest research in line with diet manual and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives for patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: partner with food service management to support patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: support growth of staff and dietetic interns where applicable.

Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; Specialty certification in CDCES, CEDRD, CHES or CSO preferred, or able to obtain within one year of hire.

Hourly Pay: $35/hour to $40/hour

What We’re Looking For
