NYU Grossman School of Medicine in Brooklyn seeks a Nurse Practitioner for Outpatient CT Surgery. You will provide comprehensive nursing care under a collaborative practice with a supervising physician, ensuring quality patient outcomes and adherence to state regulations.

The role requires NYS NP and RN licenses, a Master’s in Nursing, and board certification or ANCC certification within feasibility. Strong communication and leadership are valued in this team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current registration as Professional Nurse in New York and Registration as Nurse Practitioner in New York.
• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Board certification or ANCC certification as NP preferred and expected as soon as feasible after graduation.

Responsabilités

• Plans and coordinates nursing care for outpatient CT Surgery patients.
• Ensures adherence to practice standards and collaborative care with physicians.
• Prescribes medications and therapies per NYS law and privileges.
• Educates peers and supports quality improvement in the service.
