Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) provides integrated behavioral healthcare across Arizona, offering residential, outpatient and crisis services.

The Counselor role focuses on delivering individualized counseling that supports treatment plans and family education within an expanding team. The position requires a CSWE-accredited Master’s degree, AZBBHE licensure eligibility, and at least one year of behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Minimum of one year of full-time behavioral health experience.
• Licensed at AZBBHE as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, MFT or Addiction Counselor (Residential only).
• Must be in good standing with AZBBHE and able to provide supervision toward licensure.
• Valid identification required and AZ Fingerprint Clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to participants per individualized treatment plans.
• Familiarize with new participants to tailor services based on best practices.
• Deliver educational presentations to participants and families as needed.

Outpatient Counselor

Job Summary

The Community Bridges, Inc. (CB) Counselor is responsible for ensuring, with the assistance of other treatment team members, that each participant is provided the services necessary to achieve the goals of treatment as outlined in their individualized treatment plan. Counselors familiarise themselves with each new assigned participant to provide appropriate counseling services based on best practices models as well as providing educational presentations to participants and/or their families as needed.

Skills/Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE-accredited program required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of full‑time behavioral health experience is required of this position. LIC
• Must be licensed at the independent or associate level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Addiction Counselor (Addiction Counselor applicable to Residential Programs only).
• Must be in good standing with the AZBBHE and meet requirements to provide clinical supervision toward licensure.
• Valid identification required.
• Holds AZ Fingerprint Clearance card.
